We believe children learn best when parents and schools work together. Open, two-way communication helps build a strong partnership between home and the classroom.

We welcome parent involvement in ways that fit your schedule, including:

    • Classroom volunteering: Help with projects, prepare materials, tidy up, or engage with children during activities. When children see their parents involved in their learning, it reinforces the importance of education.
    • Special classroom volunteers: Share a skill, hobby, profession, craft, cooking activity, cultural tradition, or special interest to enrich student learning.
    • Field trip volunteers: This provides a valuable opportunity to support your child’s classroom learning and share in the experience with their class. Responsibilities may vary depending on the trip and can include supervising a small group of children, helping guide them through activities or exhibits, and assisting under the direction of a lead facilitator.
    • Volunteering on the Parent Council: Volunteer parents meet monthly to support school administration and program planning alongside the Teacher and Administrator. All parents are welcome to attend.
